Urbane.Company's innovative ceramic mesh blends traditional materials with modern craftsmanship. Liquid Deposition Modeling creates a three-dimensional mesh, layer by layer, in precise 1mm slices. This interlocking ceramic mesh is integrated into the base of every ceramic piece . The structure allows for water and air to flow while retaining objects inside. The shapes are tailored to each application and feature geometry that traditional fabrication methods cannot achieve.

No Plastic
Thanks to Liquid Deposition Modeling, ceramics can be printed in novel ways and forms previously thought impossible. Urbane currently uses porcelain for Planters and will offer new clay bodies and materials in the future. Eliminating plastics reduces oil use and creates products that last generations.

Superior Performance
Urbane planters feature integrated three-dimensional drains that maximize water and airflow while retaining grow media. The ceramic mesh drain traps soil and reduces washout. The design avoids using plastic/metal mesh for ceramic planters or thin perforations for plastic planters. The entire bottom of the planter is an open mesh drain that helps prevent root rot while stimulating growth with proper oxygen and airflow.
